Born from the theme of "Cherishing Everyday Life," this collaboration brings together Sailor’s celebrated Japanese pen craftsmanship and the heritage textile artistry of Kamawanu. Kamawanu is renowned for its traditional hand-dyed tenugui—versatile Japanese cotton cloths that, much like a fine fountain pen, grow richer in character the more they are used.
Fugu-tatewaku is finished in a rich, deep indigo blue patterned with white pufferfish and rising bubble streams inspired by the classic tatewaku pattern, a motif historically celebrated for bringing good fortune.
Each set comes presented as a complete, premium gift package housed in an elegant custom box. The packaging beautifully displays both the fountain pen and the folded tenugui side by side beneath a gold-embossed lid, creating an eye-catching presentation.
